Judy Arrington
Judy Arrington is a children’s writer, originally from Altadena, California. Her books draw from fond memories of a childhood spent with siblings and friends, traipsing around her neighborhood on adventures.
A mother of mostly boys, she loves the PNW. Hiking and kayaking outdoors, remodeling with her husband Mike, learning, gardening, and preserving food. She also loves to spend time with her grandkids, and her dogs- Archie and Daisy.
Judy has three books published. Ice Cream Igloo, a fantasy book about a boy’s wish for ice cream, was illustrated by Smita Dasgupta and published in 2020. A Day to pretend, also illustrated by Dasgupta, is about sisters at play and was published in 2022. Her third book, Altadena Underground was published in 2021 and is a beginning chapter book with vocab inserts and is about a brother and sister who get mixed up in mysteries exploring their neighborhood.
