Kerri Hakoda

Kerri Hakoda was born in Hawaii, but considers Alaska one of her favorite places. She has worked for a cable television company, a commercial fishing magazine, a shipyard and fishing equipment manufacturer, and a marine transportation company – all located in or with strong ties to Alaska. She lives with her husband (himself a veteran of the Alaska fishing industry) in northwest Washington, where she writes mystery, historical, and young adult science fiction.
